Waiting for alignment
Load, draw or edit the road alignment
Upload an existing centerline, draw a new alignment directly on the map, or edit the loaded geometry before defining the project AOI.
Choose a road alignment file to begin.
Why this comes first
The road extent guides the map view and helps you draw an AOI that contains the complete alignment while extending far enough upstream for watershed delineation.

Define the processing area
Use automatic coverage, or draw a larger minimum AOI when a very large upstream basin needs more starting coverage.
AOI tools are locked until the road alignment is loaded.
A manual AOI must contain the whole road. It enlarges the starting terrain request and never clips automatic edge expansion.
